Mission Groups Finding our passion, bringing the Kingdom
This year we are focusing on a journey of mission! Our church is organizing into mission groups with a common passion to bring Christ's kingdom into our areas of influence and relationship. We currently have three groups that will fully engaged by January 2017, and we have other groups in the works as well.
Our three groups which are open for joinging:
1. Downtown Lake Elsinore: Our Refuge groups meets on Thursday nights at 6pm in the church fellowship hall. This groups shares a meal together, listens to a concise and practical teaching, and then spends time in discussion and conversation. This group is led by Dn. Chris Bodiford, and has been successful in reaching out to some many of the local neighborhoods in downtown Elsinore.
2. Art and Marriage: Our Sunday evening group meets in the Lemons' home on Sunday nights at 6pm starting on January 8th. Each week has a different theme, and participants are encouraged to bring a song, poem, story, piece of art, or just their willingness to enjoy the art of others. The group shares a simply meal and engages the challenges of marriage and relationships as well.
3. Healing Prayer: Tuesday nights in Murrieta will be a series of trainings and bible studies for those that want to grow in their ability to pray for healing for themselves and others. This group is led by Randy Mah, and meetings at Bonnie and Dan Dempster's house.
This is going to be a powerful year of transformation and mission. I hope you will consider being a part of it.
